Islamophobia Training

Islamophobia Awareness Month training is designed to educate on Islamophobia and initiate discussions around it as an issue in society.

  • Ideal for: Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) spaces.
  • Format: Training available online or in-person.
  • Trainer: Delivered by a member of the Islamophobia Awareness Month (IAM) team.
  • Customization: Team members are available to discuss individual needs for the training.

  • Topics covered: Definition of, Islamophobia. Causes of Islamophobia. Ways to reduce Islamophobia.

  • Target audience: Ideal for workplaces, schools, and other environments interested in learning more about Islamophobia.

  • Purpose: Supports Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives.

Bystander Training

It’s one thing to recognise Islamophobia, but what do you do when you witness it? 

  • Discussion points: Definition of  Islamophobia. Reasons behind its occurrence. Strategies to reduce Islamophobia.

  • Workshop suitability: Perfect for workplaces, schools, and other settings. Beneficial for those involved in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) efforts.
